See how Prusa3D scaled effortlessly with Directus: directus.io/case-studie... When Prusa3D grew from a one-person startup to 1000+ employees, their support team was drowning in scattered product support data.
Using our data platform, they unified their systems and transformed their support workflow:
• Cut support overhead by 50%
• Reduced dev time by 30% on new tools Why are gifs important? They have videos
it fits! super chuffed with this as a first sewing project, and start to finish in a (long) day. pretty much nailed what I set out to do, only small things i’d adjust next time.
as soon as I get back to the city!
behold!
With AI agents on the horizon, we'll need better authn/authz primitives to grant access to agents in a fine-granular way beyond just "Login with Google". Who is doing interesting work in this regard?
You don't want to miss this talk from @shlomi-noach.bsky.social today at FOSDEM.
It covers how you can use schemadiff — a Vitess library that programmatically analyzes database schemas independent of the MySQL server — to solve common schema change and schema management problems. Make it pop!

made a crappy prototype. uses oxc, so it's ultra-fast, but it's also fairly dumb - is relying on unique component naming, and i am pretty sure it'll break with memoized components, and also i want it to differentiate between modules in npm deps vs not 🫡
writing some rust, not using cursor or whatever, probably 10x slower, who cares
📊 Database monitoring doesn't have to be complex!
4 metrics that tell you 90% of what you need to know:
• Query execution time (p95)
• Connection pool saturation
• Transaction duration trends
• Lock contention rates
Focus on these first. Add complexity only when needed 🙌 Wooo! Hope you have a good time!
Thank you! Definitely will do 🍻
With uv (astral) and Zed, it is pretty easy to get set up to work on an existing Python project: 1. Clone the repo 2. `uv sync` to install deps in a .venv 3. Select the .venv in Zed's toolchain selector We have plans to further improve our support of Python. Stay tuned.
thank you! 😊
oh sweet! good luck!
no issues with my incredibly last minute train and hotel booking for FOSDEM, phew 😮💨
hehe glad you like it!
