Guests show up with a skill they've failed to learn and feel is beyond them, be it calculus, how to hit a backend, how to draw, how to write well, how to code, whatever 

Then you learn that thing on the show

certain books, mostly lengthy philosophical political books with snappy titles that are super dense and honestly kinda sloppy, all their goodreads reviews are like "an urgent message, very important book, everyone must read" and i'm like 80% sure that these people didn't read it

just like ~this time last year, i tried to do too much without resting enough, so my body decided when I should rest
