ten days minimum, probably - lots of flats on the erie canal trail that would be good for big mileage days. but fourteen seems safe
i only want one thing and it's
www.fcc.gov/news-events/... - bet the folks at foam.space are cheering rn
the purpose of the system is? crowd shouts: what it does!
yeah, that answer makes sense
mad respect for the remix team, at the time this was a good option and no major regrets, they've moved the needle for fullstack frameworks. but man, the tradeoffs are not that great for complex apps, and we (and many people i've talked to) just start moving everything to trpc
how would it work with javascript turned off? man, i don't care. i wish i did care, i guess, but like, i have never worked on a product simple enough to fully function with javascript off. who does?
the rest of remix is fine and good, the upgrade path stuff has been mostly good, i like not having a opinion about react server components. but "show a toast when this form submission is successful" should be a 5 minute task, not two hours
it would be a bad engineering decision but i am so tempted to switch to tanstack start from remix for val town, the remix actions system is so opinionated and the opinions it holds are bad

You can now create a Bookmark shape by dragging a URL onto the canvas. Previously, you could only do this by pasting your link.
There are plenty more changes in our full blog post.
For example, you can now move around your board without taking your hands off the keyboard.
To move the camera, hold down the Spacebar and use the Arrow keys.
We put an enormous amount of effort into our rich text toolbar. It should stay perfectly positioned as you change your selection, move around the canvas, or resize and rotate shapes. If you can break it, let us know.
Our much-awaited rich text feature is now live.
You can now use rich text styles—bold, italics, lists, links, and code—in any of our text tools and shape labels.
Collaboration is better, too. You can invite guests as editors or viewers with just a link (they won’t need to log in to collaborate) or keep your file private.
You can even switch a file between public and private—another first for tldraw.
For the first time, you can now login to save and keep track of your files.
Your recent files are shown in the sidebar, all safely stored in the cloud and synced between devices. You can pin your favorites to the top, or rename, delete, download, and share.
What's new in tldraw?
A lot is new! A few weeks ago we launched the new tldraw website, where you can (finally?) login and organize your tldraw files.
Today we launched a new rich text feature—next week we might launch right-angled arrows, too. Read on for more.
but it has also failed on basic gut-check questions about web fundamentals, like this one chatgpt.com/share/67819d...
i think that's the case for my typescript questions, but o1 flubbed a neovim question earlier today and whenever i ask it to revise the answer it just writes lengthier wrong solutions to it. though i switched to 4.5 and it worked.
