2/ @zarr.dev’s use cases are broadening beyond level 3+ data to include level 1 and 2 EO applications. Major players like @copernicusecmwf.bsky.social (Sentinel 1/2/3), USGS (Landsat), GEE, and ESRI ArcGIS are all integrating Zarr, making PBs of EO data cloud-ready and analysis-friendly.

i wrote a thing about this a long time ago, and still think about a world with more diverse display tech macwright.com/2018/08/28/g... the new watches have hi-res oled displays, this one feels like a relic of an earlier time with a reflective backlit limited-colors display, with the super long battery life to match. basically it feels like "electronics" but not "a computer" in a way that a lot of thing used to but don't now
the garmin feature that lets you choose from smiley and frowny faces after each run gives me a a lot of joy
