The era of manual software development is coming to a close quickly. 

My view on software development has drastically changed. I believe in the future the role of engineers will be to build software factories, not the software itself.

basically the one application design principle that i cannot get enough of is 'the monolith', the fewer parts an application has the better. val town started with 3 and went down to 2 and i wish it was 1. perfection is a single binary running the whole app, every microservice is a policy failure.
