Zed Decoded is back! In this episode Agus, Antonio, and Richard dive into how we built the Agent Panel. Join us in the technical weeds as they take us through the journey from 'Assistant One' (now Text Threads) to the Agent Panel.
youtu.be/24rAEgYd6jw with agents taking an active role in coding there are a few gaps we’d like to fill with tuist • automating the testing of changes • automating building, signing, and distributing changes developers will be able to take a back seat and monitor the system
😎 In v6.11.0, we moved the Preview version of the "Rust-free Prisma ORM" forward by bringing it to all remaining SQL databases supported by Prisma ORM: MySQL/MariaDB, Neon & CockroachDB.
🚀 Try it out & share feedback to help us bring it to GA!

pris.ly/release/6.11.0 🚀 Prisma ORM v6.11.0 and Prisma Postgres updates are live!
✅ Embed Prisma Studio in React apps
✅ Rust-free ORM for MySQL, Neon & CockroachDB
✅ Prisma Postgres in more Vercel templates
pris.ly/launch/6.11... Hard to explain. I would have not believed it 2 weeks ago. Give Claude Code a try and iterate as much as possible on helping it do the thing you want. Now scale up and run n in parallel.
So far programmers have been manual factory workers now quickly being replaced by more efficient and better robots. Like it or not. That’s what’s already happening. Embrace change.
The era of manual software development is coming to a close quickly. My view on software development has drastically changed. I believe in the future the role of engineers will be to build software factories, not the software itself.
We just released v0.15 of the GitButler client - new layout, new UI, advanced commit message editor, partial hunk commits, uncommitting files, GitLab integration - so much going on in the last few months.
Check it out.
blog.gitbutler.com/gitbutler-15... You can now spin up containerized environments for each of your agent threads in Zed using @dagger.io 😎 Here's the direct link: planetscale.com/postgres sort of! in between versions 3 and 4 here we eliminated the idea of a 'worker server' (but are on the verge of bringing it back for better scalability) blog.val.town/blog/first-f...
also around that time we switched from two repos (frontend & backend) to a monorepo Curious what Prisma Postgres would actually cost?
We built a pricing calculator that lets you:
✅ Pick from common usage patterns
✅ Or enter your own operations and storage to get a realistic estimate
If anything’s missing, we’d love to improve it based on your feedback 👇
pris.ly/ppg-pricing... basically the one application design principle that i cannot get enough of is 'the monolith', the fewer parts an application has the better. val town started with 3 and went down to 2 and i wish it was 1. perfection is a single binary running the whole app, every microservice is a policy failure.
