zed.dev/releases/sta... @osiewicz.bsky.social is on a mission to improve Zed's default 🐍 experience. This week, we switched from `pyright` to `basedpyright` as our default language server, as it includes support for inlay hints, semantic highlighting, auto-import code actions, and stricter type checking. Need to switch from `CRLF` to `LF` in your currently-open file? No problem. Just run the `line ending: toggle` action in the command palette.
🚀 We just released Zed v0.204! We added support for Claude Code Plan mode, as well as all other permission modes. You can also now use Claude Code and Gemini CLI over SSH in Zed.
This might sound controversial, but using Swift extensions just as a grouping mechanism is making things unnecessarily complex for the compiler.
This JS runtime looks very promissing. With GPU-accelerated graphics built in, can it be an alternative to Tauri or Electron for building apps for desktop?
tryandromeda.dev Fixes: - Claude Code: Fixes a Windows specific issue where a terminal window was unnecessary created - Claude Code: Fixes an issue with the order in which global/local settings.json were being evaluated - Fixes a missing font - Fixes a bug with previewing stacked branches [4/4]
Other changes: - If a repo has a GitHub remote but no integration, the app will display a hint - When integrating upstream changes (from the remote of your branch) you now have the option to pick upstream, skip and squash 👇[3/4]
Keyboard navigation: - Arrow keys can now be used to move - Escape now closes the current preview - Vimium-style navigation - you can press the F key to navigate without the mouse 👇[2/4]
⋈ v0.16.2 GitButler - You asked for it, we built it. Claude Code: - Support for Planning Mode - The app now respects the MCP Servers that you have - You can start a session directly from the Workspace But wait, there's more 👇 [1/4]

videos.tuist.dev/w/vSPYwS2XB... I find it crazy that Apple hasn't prioritized making Swift DocC-generated websites pre-rendered. JavaScript shouldn't be necessary to load a documentation site.
🪐 we're thinking about putting together a guide on using @astrodotbuild + prisma + auth.
which auth provider would you want to see first? These developers believed in Zed enough to contribute their time and expertise for months.
