Metadata tags solve this. Tag targets across multiple dimensions, then generate focused workspaces on demand. Combine with caching and only your focused code compiles.
tuist.dev/blog/2025/10... Prepare for the future of Prisma with the new changes in Prisma config 👇
pris.ly/config-migr... Your Prisma config just got way more useful.
Now you can wire up migrations and set seed scripts, right from the config! Hot take: SwiftPM would be better with TOML/JSON/YAML + JSON schema instead of Package.swift.
Rust nailed this with Cargo.toml. Static config = no compiler slowness, better editor support.
Most Package.swift files are just structures anyway. Those doing I/O? Anti-pattern. New post: How tiny design decisions can move an entire industry
From Mise to AI-assisted Bash scripts, small innovations are challenging years of assumptions in developer tooling.

blog.gitbutler.com/ship-faster-... Watch @danielroe.dev detail the journey and architectural decisions that led to integrating Vite into the Nuxt framework and offers a sneak peek at v4.2, like the adoption of Vite's Environment API for faster builds and a Rust-powered CLI
Full video: youtu.be/uiufuNh6L4E Swift-build is good for unifying build systems, but fragmentation between Xcode projects & Swift Packages remains. Apple needs to decide the path forward instead of maintaining two graphs that need constant reconciliation. SPM's interface mixes dependency & project contexts badly. Hot take: Coupling automation to CI pipelines is a liability. As coding environments evolve (Claude Code, Codex, etc.), pipelines should stay lean.
Tools like Mise: declare environment + tasks once. CI, LLMs, and local dev all interface with it.
Lean pipelines, portable automation. We've improved Okta SSO in Tuist! You can now initiate authentication directly from the Tuist login page instead of going through your Okta portal first. Smoother workflow for your team. https://tuist.dev/change... sadly i think we're disqualified bsky.app/profile/josh... we're hiring at val town! www.val.town/careers $5 PlanetScale releasing soon

In this next stage, VoidZero is accelerating development on both our open-source projects and Vite+, the unified JavaScript toolchain.
This is only the beginning!
→ voidzero.dev/posts/announ... Watch @atila.io demonstrate SolidStart's features like "single-flight mutations" and unveils the SolidStart 2.0 roadmap, which involves a deeper integration with Vite's native APIs and a shift towards a more modular, primitive-based architecture

At SciPy 2025, napari, Xarray & CellProfiler devs began a collab to build true metadata-aware visualization across sciences.
