lots of people do it, we recently had a spike of ~400/sec being created and run that made me pay attention to the servers but 'normal' rates are happening all the time without incident. right now api val creations are under standard rate limits (1k/min free, 10k/min pro)

“The terminal’s your friend.” 🫶
It’s not that complicated. And once you pair it with an agentic tool like Claude Code, you realize how much you’ve been missing.
Full workshop replay: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lr0E... i'm about an hour or two into it and will probably bail at 20% completion like i do with most games. though i am starting to find them more mentally engaging / better for my attention span than slop tv?
are you using it with apple photos as the backing library or the filesystem? i've been using apple photos only for iphone photos and capture one (or some other tool's) library for everything else
wow, that looks really good.
is 'death stranding' in the same genre as 'there is no antimemetics division' discuss
Yep, that’s…not how calendars work 😅 Thanks for flagging. We’re on it.

six centuries of type and printing: brief, exhaustive, fascinating, not for people with a passing interest in the subject, adore the physical book and the indie publishing

But it still needs to be said again in 2026 👇
Just doubled @voidzero.dev 's sponsorship to @patak.dev to $2k/mo. Excited to have you back, and proud to be supporting your work of improving the JS ecosystem. YESSS
So good to have @patak.dev back
Yeah I like that. @jakelazaroff.com has a nice hover preview too I like how gwern.net hyperlinks have ::after hints like “W” for Wikipedia links
Looking for info on #Rust and #GitOxide at #FOSDEM? Join our own @kiril.se in the Rust Dev room at 14:30! drawing faces is hard, i've been trying though macwright.com/2026/01/31/s... saw that mustache on the captain and thought "this is definitely a burning man person" and it's not literally true but he definitely has that energy and is worth googlin www.bloomberg.com/features/201... www.inverse.com/article/1276... and no, i'm not going to blame robert moses even though he built the bqe. the most important thing about robert moses is that he's been dead since 1981, everything that still exists of his that hasn't been knocked down or fixed is our fault now
(it's the ramp/intersection between atlantic ave and the bqe, for those not into geoguessr)
it's both poorly designed (the light is way too far back, the pedestrian delay is miscalibrated, there's no camera and no enforcement) and also it suffers from being the entrance to the bqe. once drivers are within 1000ft of a highway their brains shut off and they become psychos
also this crosswalk sucks shit, drivers blow through the red light constantly and are going to kill people with their ignorant scofflaw behavior
it's striking how most companies bury their customer support channels and make it impossible to contact a human, but when i have a concern about a crosswalk in my neighborhood i can email my local rep, the dept of transportation, and the mayor, and get real replies from at least one of them
