↳ A training technique where a smaller “student” model learns to replicate the behavior of a larger “teacher” model, preserving performance while reducing size and cost.

Additionally, and I know it's a bigger change, but bash kinda sucks for us. pre-exec is... fine. There are a number of smaller bugs with it that we can't really fix, as preexec is just a hack to get shell hooks into bash.

If at ALL possible, switching to any other shell is a much better experience

also if you're using zfs on your homedir it's a known issue with sqlite + zfs, fixed either by using the daemon, orrrr by updating to the latest zfs release

1. your system
2. the version you're running
3. if you have tried the new daemon? (run atuin setup, say yes to the daemon). it should be MUCH faster + better
