🧢 Stop by the PlanetScale booth if you're at SREcon for PlanetScale credits, hats, stickers, and great conversations about databases.
You don't have to use Git to start a Netlify project.
No repo to initialize. No commit before you know if the idea is worth it.
Build first. Add Git when the project needs it, not before.

AI use case: Autonomous workflows
AI can chain together tasks, tools, and decisions to complete work end-to-end. It helps you move from single prompts to fully automated execution.
Your AI code completions in Zed show up in ~200ms. That's Zeta, our Edit Prediction model, running on @basetenco.bsky.social.
We love partnering with companies who keep the bar high — Baseten is one of them.

Vite's new plugin registry is live! 🎉
Browse @vite.dev, @rolldown.rs, and Rollup plugins from the teams and the community.
Filter by version compatibility to find plugins that work with your setup.
And if you are a maintainer, you can add your plugin easily too
registry.vite.dev The gatekeeping of software development has lowered. What matters now? Taste and brains.
Shipping is important, but you can't build with blinders on. We have to share, iterate, and advance together.
That’s why community is everything. 👇

planetscale.com/blog/enhance... Query Insights just got way more powerful. We now track tag metadata at the per-query level. This allows you to filter queries by tag, see per-tag performance breakdowns, and set resource budgets with Traffic Control.
AI-generated code ships fast.
That's exactly why you need a checklist before it hits production.
Dependencies. Secrets. Access controls. Runtime protections.

AI Terminology #21: Perplexity
↳ A metric used to evaluate language models, measuring how well a model predicts a sequence. Lower perplexity indicates better performance. A handy new text manipulation command is landing on stable this Zednesday thanks to tiagolobao: `editor: align selections`
Code barrier: short list of builders.
Prompt barrier: much longer list.
On Netlify, devs can bring in PMs, designers, founders. Same account, same infra, without losing control of what ships.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=OLfe... How it works:
1. Create budgets that target subsets of your query traffic
2. Specify which queries fall in those budgets based on query patterns, app names, custom tags, or Postgres users
3. Set the resource limits each budget can consume
