Sharding is how you scale relational databases. Bottlenecks like server write limits, data size, and slow backups mean eventually, your data should live on multiple servers. Learn how we do this at PlanetScale with Neki and Vitess in our latest blog.
Read the launch post to see how early users are already building evidence-backed research systems with Elicit:
elicit.com/blog/the-el... Systematic review API: The most powerful of the three APIs is the Systematic Review API. This API lets you run a full systematic review end-to-end while giving you control over every step across search strategy, screening criteria, data extraction parameters, and reporting. Reports API: This allows you to submit a research question and generate the answer as a fully cited report. Search API: This API allows you to search 138 million academic papers and 545K clinical trials using either semantic or keyword search. Our API had the best search results (paper recall) when compared against four of the most popular search tools on the BioASQ benchmark. The Elicit API and MCP server are now available and bring Elicit’s trusted capabilities to your agents and workflows.
Three endpoints are now available: Search, Reports, and Systematic review. All three also work over MCP with Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or any other MCP-compatible client.
Demo below. The underrated part of the new Pro tiers: on the 10K+ tiers, credits you don't use roll into the next billing cycle. Ship something that blows up next month? The credits you didn't burn this month are still there.

One of the coolest parts of Agent Runners is that they work with the context of your Netlify project. In this clip, Tania explains how that helps keep changes aligned with your site’s branding and why the live logs are worth watching while your agent works.
If you give it a try, lmk what you think!
How to get a Claude Design project live on Netlify:
1. Click Share
2. More formats and apps
3. Connect Netlify (once)
4. Send
After that, just type "Deploy to Netlify" in chat and it ships. Reshare any time to push updates live.

KP & Tania go live:
☀️ Hot AR Summer showcase
🛠️ Live mini-build with Agent Runners
⚡ New Netlify Pro tiers — up to 20K monthly credits, flat price
Come build with us 👋
📌 luma.com/mw5ytga3 🔥 Check out #HotARSummer: hot-ar-summer.netlify.app
Build with Netlify Agent Runners, ship something every day, and share what you’re creating.
Then join the conversation in our Discord community: discord.com/invite/netlify A little structure goes a long way.
Instead of “go build something,” #HotARSummer gives builders a simple goal: 30 days. 30 apps. One rule.
Hear KP explain why reducing friction and giving people a clear theme leads to more people shipping. New Pro tiers just went live — up to 20K monthly credits at a flat price, per-credit discounts as you go up, and rollover on the higher tiers.
If you're on Pro now: nothing changes unless you opt in.
www.netlify.com/blog/new-pro... Kiro turns 1 today 🎂 The Netlify power gives it the context + tools to build and deploy full-stack projects to Netlify — add it from the powers catalog, ask Kiro to deploy, get a live URL, keep shipping. Happy birthday, Kiro! 🎉
