November 2021: someone submitted Netlify Drop to Hacker News. No launch, no announcement. 349 points.

Comments kept saying it felt like PHP shared hosting, dropping a folder into FileZilla and it just works. Still what it's for.

The image viewer's zoom level is now editable directly from the toolbar.
Click the zoom percentage to set a custom value, or right-click it to reset to 100%.

The branch picker now offers a cleaner filtering experience for viewing All, Local, or Remote branches.
In the All view, local and remote branches are grouped into separate sections.

The interesting part of MCP 2026-07-28 is a removal. No handshake, no session ID header, no sticky routing. Servers scale horizontally the way HTTP has always scaled.

We shipped support for it on day one.
