The MicroVMs behind Netlify Edge Functions start in about 2ms at p99. Idle functions scale to zero and restore from a memory-mapped snapshot, so they start running before the full snapshot loads.

Your planning model explores the codebase and writes the plan. Approve it, and your implementation model takes over mid-run.
Set both in /config → Feature models We’ve spent years building Prisma ORM for you.
With Prisma ORM 8, we want you to be able to build with us.
It’s open and extensible, so you can build what you need without waiting on us.

i must ask, where'd you get the idea for this chart style?
RSVP here: luma.com/zed-foun We're hosting a happy hour with @iroh_n0 and @workos in NYC! We'll have food, drinks, tables to hack and demo, but no talks. This is after work and a chance to connect with the community. Link to RSVP in the thread 👇️
Ling 3.1 Flash (free model) just got an update.
We're increasing limits to 300 requests per day.
That means more tokens to build for free. You can now run a zero downtime MySQL import straight from the CLI. Coming from RDS, Aurora, or Cloud SQL? Run the whole migration from your terminal or hand it off to your agent to do for you.
On our old infrastructure, the request left our network at this point and came back over the internet. Keeping the whole path inside Netlify made warm invocations about 5x faster at the median.
www.netlify.com/blog/edge-fu... The edge node picks a compute node with rendezvous hashing, so a function lands on the same node every time. Its MicroVM stays warm and its code stays cached. When one site takes a big share of a region's traffic, we spread it across a slice of nodes.
When a route matches, the edge node writes a spec for the machine that will run the function. It names the runtime, our platform image, and the function image. It also sets CPU, memory, and connection limits.
The request lands on the Netlify edge node closest to the client. The node terminates TLS and checks the path against the deploy's Edge Functions routes. Anything without a matching route goes on to the cache and origin as usual.
A warm request to a Netlify Edge Function now spends about 6ms on our side before the response heads back out. It passes through an edge node, a compute node, and a Firecracker MicroVM without leaving our network.
@nathansobo.bsky.social, @as-cii.com, and Cole spent 80 prompts across 3 timezones and several days on a complex problem without ever touching a `plan.md`.
It all happened in Delta: delta.dev/blog/plannin... Nothing is as fast as not doing anything. How we build Neki around that idea:

The new tldraw plugin lets ChatGPT map a problem on the canvas and sketch a few fixes. Comment on the drawing to ask for changes and watch it update live. Here's Max trying it on one of our bugs: Check out the documentation to learn more
docs.railway.com/observability/tracing It's a bad day to be a slow (or broken) request 🔍
Tracing is now in preview. You or your agent can follow any request end to end, pinpoint what's slow or failing, and fix it
Opt in, then set it up from the Traces tab
